The Mission of the team behind BeatingHeroin.com

- We firstly aim to enable people who want to beat an opiate problem to reduce suffering from withdrawals by 80 or 90% within 30 minutes. We then aim to enable them to permanently block their cravings for opiates, quickly and painlessly, by providing them with access to the best medicines available anywhere in the world, at affordable prices.
- We then aim to enable them to discover which of the Common Underlying Causes of Opiate Addiction they have, that have led to and kept their opiate problem going. They can discover this online by completing The Beck Mini DISCOMFORTS/DYSFUNCTIONS Checklist.

- We then aim to enable people to permanently beat their Opiate problem by Permanently correcting their Particular Personal Underlying Causes. This is done through Information Printouts (which come free of charge, by return email, with the Discomforts/Dysfunctions Checklist Report), and through Medications, Diet, Exercise, Online Counselling, Referrals to Counsellors on our Database, and through our Chat Room.
- Finally we aim to assist them, through similar means, to help to permanently rid their whole family of opiate problems and Underlying Causes, so that they can feel good about their family, can get on well with family members and not be dragged down by them, and can have the benefits of a good family situation for the rest of their life.

I attended Dr Beck's clinic with the hope of getting off heroin and speed. I was using $200 worth of heroin a day and one gram of speed per day and was quite a big dealer, which I needed to be to pay for my habits. Dr Beck found that over the years I had had head injuries, sleeplessness, anxiety, serious antisocial behaviour, compulsive gambling, suicidal thoughts and attempts, blood clots in the brain from bashing my head against a wall, and at one stage had been an alcoholic.
I was put straight onto buprenorphine during the first consultation and didn't use illegal narcotics again. Dr Beck prescribed Epilim as first aid for the ADD but I didn't take it. The buprenorphine has been wonderful and I feel very much better and never crave other narcotics. However, I continue to use speed and Dr Beck has told me that I need to see a psychiatrist to look at the ADD possibility, as he feels that this is a very important underlying aspect of my condition. I lost my first referral to the psychiatrist, then missed my appointment twice, which Dr Beck tells me is common with ADD sufferers. I am now making every effort to get to see a psychiatrist as I really want to get off the speed.
